In the Glossary Section, you will find a full glossary of all the included literary elements, along with examples, to aid you in teaching. You can cover the poems in any order that suits you.

We recommend that you provide each student with a blank copy of the journal in the resources section or a blank journal for them to use for their poems, reserving the highlighted copy for your use. Also, provide highlighters or colored pencils for students to mark the elements as they are found.
