Doctor Dolittle says that they can live on omelets and junket. Most of you probably know what an omelet is, but do you know what junket is?

Well, in today's project, we're going to learn how to make this custard-like dessert. For this project, you will need:

• Junket Tablets
• 2/3 cup Grape-Nuts (optional)
• 2 cups whole milk (Do not use ultra-pasteurized. Use fresh, if possible.)
• 3 Tbs sugar
• 1 Tsp vanilla extract
• 1 Tbsp cold water

For Optional Cherry Sauce:

• 1/4 cup butter
• 2 Tbsp flour
• 1 cup red cherry juice
• 2 Tbsp lemon juice
• 1/4 cup sugar
• a few drops of almond extract
