Writing Project

Choose one of the following topics based on ideas from the essay above and complete a freewrite. Before you start writing about your chosen topic, consider your purpose. Do you want to inform, persuade or entertain with your topic?

• Describe a time when you found yourself in a big crowd. How did you feel? Were you moving in the same direction? Was there one person that stood out to you? How would you describe that person?
• Have you ever looking back on an experience and discovered symbolism in a person or something that happened?
