Project Resources

You will need the following supplies for projects listed throughout the course. You do not have to complete each project. Choose those you think would be interesting.

Project 1, Mandarin

• Paper and pencil

Project 2, Build a Kite

• Heavy plastic sheet (trash bag or plastic tablecloth)
• Dowels
• String or Yarn (300 feet or more)
• Wood or cardboard
• Duct tape or Packaging Tape
• Ruler
• Scissors
• Marker

Project 3, Measure the Wind

• 4 Paper Cups
• Corrugated Cardboard
• Thumbtack
• Hot Glue Gun or Stapler
• Scissors 
• Tape
• Your Choice of Items for Spinning Portion (#1 old pen and dowel rod, #2 new pencil and a plastic container with lid)
• Timer

Project 4, Paper Dragon

• Paper cup
• Marker
• Scissors
• Red paint and paintbrush
• Googly eyes
• Gold glitter
• Red and Yellow construction paper
• Orange and Yellow streamers
• Tape
• Dowel rod
