In our story, Saroo's adoptive mother helps him to remember by creating a map of his home. Today we are going to create a map of our home. For this project, you will need:

• Paper
• Pencils, Colored Pencils are optional
• Ruler

1. Start by thinking of what area you want to map out. Will it be of your home? Yard, Neighborhood? City?
2. Now start by sketching out your home and then work outward. If you don't have room on your map, just draw an area pointing off the map and label it with the place you are indicating.
3. Now color in your map.
4. Add measurements. These can be in time or in distance.
