Bats have excellent hearing. Go outside at night, close your eyes, and listen to the sounds around you.

• Did you hear any familiar sounds?
• Did you hear any unusual sounds?
• Take out your notebook and write down all the sounds you heard. See if you can identify what creature may have made the sound.
