Joe had to learn to grow his own food. One of the ways he did this was by gardening. Today, we're going to learn to grow our own vegetables. You can start with a garden in your yard or simply start with a container and some soil in your windowsill.

For this project you will need:

• Space in your yard that you can use to plant your garden or containers with soil
• Seeds of plants you want to grow
• Fertilizer
