If you are enjoying a nice day, go outside to your backyard or a park.

• Using only your sense of sight, take a look around. What do you see?
• Now, imagine you are a puppy. Get down on the ground and look closely at what you can see from this angle. Is it different? Do you notice more or less?
• What would interest a puppy? What would catch their eye?
• Try on your puppy binoculars and see what they might notice.
• If you have a magnifying glass, try using it to help you observe things close up.
• Take out your Nature Journal and record what you observe. Then draw some of the things you observed. Make sure to label your sketches and include the date and time.
