Rabbit Trail: Dyslexia & ADHD

Estimated Time: 15 minutes

Percy has dyslexia and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and they affect how he reads, learns, and focuses.

ADHD affects a person’s ability to focus and pay attention. People with ADHD might find it hard to sit still or might get distracted easily, but it also means they can be really creative and think outside the box.

We have two videos for you to watch—one explaining dyslexia and another explaining ADHD. As you watch, think about how these might affect someone’s daily life and how they could also be a source of unique strengths.

How do you think having these might help Percy in his adventures?
