In chapter 1, Edward enjoys watching the stars on clear nights. Let's go stargazing!

For this project, you will need:

• A clear night sky
• The constellation worksheet in the Lesson Plans and Printable Resources lecture.
• A blanket or lawn chair to lie on
• Telescope (optional)
• A flashlight with a red filter (optional, for reading your worksheet in the dark)

Directions:

1. Go outside on a clear night.
2. Look up in the night sky for constellations in your area using books or an app if you so desire.
3. Imagine what a rabbit like Edward might be thinking while he spends the evening gazing at the stars.
4. Use the constellation worksheet to help you.
