Project Supplies

You will need the following supplies for projects listed throughout the course. You do not have to complete each project. Choose those you think would be interesting or fun.

Project 1, Map it!

  • The project worksheet
  • Link to the Distance To From website

Project 2, Design a Motorcycle

  • Scissors
  • Markers or crayons
  • Motorcycle template
  • Optional:
    • Construction paper (various colors)
    • Glue sticks
    • Craft sticks
    • Cardboard

Project 3, Draw a Yorkie

  • Paper
  • Pencil or marker
  • Brown, black and pink markers, crayons, or colored pencils

Project 4, Suction

  • A vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment (Ask an adult for help!)
  • A small, lightweight ball (like a ping pong ball)
  • A stopwatch or timer (You can use one from a cell phone or tablet with permission)
  • The worksheet

Project 5, PB&J

  • 2 slices of bread
  • peanut butter
  • jelly or jam of your choice
  • butterknife
  • plate

Project 6, States

  • Access to the internet or books on each state from the library
  • Access to a printer or markers
  • Copies of the State Worksheets
