Nature Journal Resources

We will go on outside adventures during this book club. You will need a nature journal. This can be a nature journal you own, a drawing pad, or a regular notebook.

Resources Needed for the Magic Dust Projects:

You will need the following supplies for projects listed throughout the course. You do not have to complete each project. Choose those you think would be interesting or fun.

Project 1, Build a Sprout House

• Plastic bag
• Cotton balls
• Markers
• Paper
• Water
• Clover seeds
• Stapler
• Window

Project 2, Painted Daisies

• Daisies or other white flowers
• Food coloring or liquid watercolors
• Droppers (optional)
• Small jars or cups

Project 3, Panning for Gold

• Access to a stream or river
• Pan

Project 4, Get up and move!

• Space to dance without obstacles

Project 5, Draw a Leprechaun

• Marker or pencil
• Paper
• Brown, yellow, orange, red, pink, lime green, dark green colored pencils
