If you are enjoying a Spring Day:

Go outside and observe the flowers you see blooming.

• Do you notice any lilacs blooming? What do they smell like to you?
• Take out your Nature Journal and record what you observe. Then draw something in bloom.
• Get a nature book or use the internet to discover what you have sketched. Write it in your book.
• What other smells do you notice? Do any other blooms have a smell? Is it a good smell or does it stink?
