Nature Journal Resources

We will go on outside adventures during this book club. You will need a nature journal. This can be a nature journal you own, a drawing pad, or a regular notebook.

We recommend our Nature Journal, which is designed to help students observe the world around them. You can purchase it in our shop by clicking on the picture below.

Resources Needed for the Magic Dust Projects:

You will need the following supplies for projects listed throughout the course. You do not have to complete each project. Choose those you think would be interesting or fun.

Project 1, Rock Turtles:

• The rocks you collected during your nature walk
• Green and yellow or light brown paints
• Green and black permanent markers
• Paint brushes
• Optional - Glue gun

Project 2, Turtle Jigsaw Puzzle

• Online Jigsaw puzzle in the lecture

Project 3, Paint a Pond:

• Chalk pastels in black, brown, gold, dark purple, dark green, light green, white, blue, yellow
• Construction paper in pink
