• In  A Geek in Japan by Hector Garcia, read the inside flaps on the front and back of the book to learn more about the book and the author;
• The Table of Contents so you know the topics that are covered;
• "The Japan Few People See" on pages 4-7;
• "An Extremely Brief History" from Chapter 1 on pages 10-11.
